A person has died in a crash involving a car and motorcycle in the Far North this afternoon.
Police said the accident happened just after 3.30pm on Cape Reinga Road, just south of Te Paki Stream Road.
"The deceased did not respond to extensive CPR efforts and unfortunately, died at
the scene,'' a police statement said.
The circumstances of the accident are not yet known.
The Police Serious Crash Unit is due to carry out investigations at the scene tomorrow.
