One person died and five were injured after a car hit a tree in Albany on Auckland's North Shore early this morning.
The crash happened at 1.30am on Oteha Valley Rd.
One person had serious injuries, three had moderate injuries and one had minor injuries.
A Police spokeswoman said they
were unsure of the ages or genders of those involved, or the type of vehicle.
Police's serious crash unit is investigating and the death will be referred to the coroner.
