One person has died in a crash at Waihau Bay in the eastern Bay of Plenty.
A helicopter was dispatched to the scene at 2.10pm, a St John spokesperson said.
St John said they treated one person at the scene and did not transport anyone to hospital.
A police spokesman
said they were called at 2.25pm to a collision involving a motorbike and a light van on SH35, Waihau Bay.
