One person has been critically injured and another three hurt after a serious crash on State Highway 73 west of Christchurch.
The crash occurred at around 3.45pm, between Bealey Rd and Highfield Rd near Darfield.
"One person has reportedly sustained critical injuries, and three others have sustained moderate to serious
injuries," a police spokesperson said.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
