Save A couple who were on the run after allegedly assaulting and threatening a woman with a knife and stealing a car have been arrested in Dunedin.
Police said a 15-year-old girl and 20-year-old man were arrested on Wingatui Road in Mosgiel about 7am.
The couple evaded police after the girl
allegedly assaulted a woman and threatened her with a knife in Invercargill.
The pair then took off heading north in a stolen vehicle, police said.
Road spikes stopped the vehicle at Allanton, but the girl and the man took off on foot.
