Teen star Ashley Olsen has pulled out of commitments to promote her new movie, New York Minute, in New Zealand following the announcement that twin sister and co-star Mary-Kate is receiving treatment for a health condition, reported to be anorexia.
The American twins were originally scheduled to make an appearance at the film's Auckland premiere on Wednesday and undergo a round of local media interviews. But after Mary-Kate's cancellation, Ashley has decided to be with her family.
The 18-year-olds have been in the public eye since they were nine months old, starring in the television sitcom Full House and have since launched their own fashion line and sold millions of videos, DVDs and books.
