Oil spill on North Shore road

Oil has been spilled from a vehicle on Forrest Hill Rd on the North Shore this morning.

A police spokesperson said officers were called about the incident at 7.53am. There is a 10-15 metre-long spill near Nile Road and another patch outside Forrest Hill School.

Police were not sure what caused the spill, or if traffic was being affected.

Auckland Council staff had been notified and were on their way, police said.
