Oddjob role offered Jonah

All Black superstar Jonah Lomu has been offered a role in the next James Bond film -- as a villain. Lomu, aged 23, was invited to meet producers planning the 19th Bond movie while on a trip to Britain last month. After a 10-minute meeting at Pinewood Studios, his manager, Phil Kingsley-Jones, received a call offering Lomu the part opposite Pierce Brosnan. Mr Kingsley-Jones said Lomu was interested in the role but could not agree to a film deal before consulting the New Zealand Rugby Football Union.
