Occupants escape house fire in Morrinsville

Occupants in a Morrinsville house managed to flee before their house burned down this afternoon.

Northern fire communications shift manager Scott Osmond said the Lorne St house was well involved when the Fire Service arrived just before 2pm.

"It's fairly well damaged."

No one was injured and a fire investigator is travelling from Hamilton to establish the cause of the fire.
