The New Zealander who allegedly kidnapped his Czech daughter has evaded police and slipped back into Australia, where he lives.
Rodney William Cowie, 38, vanished with his 6-year-old daughter in the Czech Republic on Saturday, and arrived in Australia on Monday, police said.
Czech police, Interpol
and New Zealand and Australian authorities were looking for the pair.
The Czech Office for International and Legal Protection of Children says it will help the mother regain custody of her daughter.
