A fire which "totally destroyed" a house in the Far North last night may have been deliberately lit.
Fire Service northern communications spokesperson Scott Osmond said crews were called to the blaze, on Takahe Road, Ahipara, about 10.30pm.
Four trucks - three from nearby Kaitaia and one from Ahipara -
