Northcote Point Wharf closed due to strong winds

Strong winds have closed Northcote Point Wharf.

An Auckland Transport spokesperson said the wharf was closed for the next couple of hours because of squally south-west winds.

Northcote Point is very exposed to the south-west, he said.

At this time of the day the number of people affected by the closure would be small, he said.
