Nobody injured when car lands upside down

A car has crashed on to its roof near Waitetuna, in the Waikato district.

The sole male occupant of the car was uninjured in the crash, which happened on SH23 just before 6pm.

A police spokeswoman confirmed the car was upside down, but nobody was hurt or trapped.

The car was blocking a lane and would need to be towed.
