No sign of missing helicopter after fifth day

A fifth day of searching over dense Papua New Guinea jungle has revealed no sign of a missing helicopter and its three crew.

Captain Antony Annan, 49, of New Zealand, pilot captain Russell Aitken, 42, and engineer Emmett Fynn, 36, both of Australia, have been missing since their Bell 206 helicopter disappeared near the town of Wabag on Friday.

In a statement from helicopter operator Hevilift, spokesman Colin Seymour said there has again been no sign of the helicopter.

The search will recommence at first light tomorrow.
