No need to cry over spilt milk

A Waikato road was doused with milk when a tanker trailer rolled this morning.

Milk was spilt all over Arapuni Rd at Kihikihi, near Te Awamutu, about 4.30am.

A Fire Service spokeswoman said a council duty officer was notified so the mess could be cleaned up.

"The milk in the tanker spilled out over the road," she said.

"The driver was out. He was all good."

A police spokesman said the clean-up had almost finished. Diversions were in place.
