A young man has pleaded not guilty to manslaughter after the death of another man at an Auckland house party.
The 22-year-old man is charged with manslaughter following the death of 25-year-old Reginald Sharma in Mt Roskill last month.
The accused, who has interim name suppression, appeared in the High
Court at Auckland today and entered a not guilty plea.
He was remanded in custody to his next court appearance on November 15.
Sharma died at a house party in Haughey Ave in the early hours of August 19.
