Nonu accepts diversion
Former All Black Ma'a Nonu appeared before Wellington District Court judge Ian Mill yesterday to accept police diversion on a disorderly behaviour charge.
Earlier he indicated he would defend charges that arose after an early morning scuffle outside a Wellington bar in July.
Nonu was remanded at large until December 16 to complete diversion. Fellow rugby player Efaraima Fa'atau also accepted diversion on a fighting charge.
