Emergency services are attending an incident on the Northern Motorway just past the Auckland Harbour Bridge.
Police confirmed a vehicle breakdown was blocking a lane between the Stafford Rd on-ramp and Onewa Rd off-ramp at 10.43am.
Motorists in the northbound motorway lanes faced lengthy delays, which have now cleared.
NZTAsaid traffic was also heavy due to an event in the area.
