A critically injured pedestrian has been taken to Auckland City Hospital after being hit by a vehicle in the suburb of Royal Oak.
Emergency services attended the incident about 12.15pm on Mt Albert Rd.
Police said the incident involved a vehicle and a man has been critically injured.
St John
said five vehicles attended and one patient has been taken to Auckland City Hospital.
Fire and Emergency also attended. The serious crash unit has also been advised.
