A broken-down truck on Auckland's Harbour Bridge has caused motorway traffic heading north to back up as far as Mt Wellington.
Two lanes were blocked by the truck and motorists were being advised there were long queues in the area.
Lane two and lane three on the Harbour Bridge had been cleared after tow services were able to retrieve the truck.
At 4pm, traffic remained backed up from Mt Wellington with major delays on all on ramps around Auckland CBD and Ponsonby, the NZ Transport Agency said.
