A crash has been cleared on Auckland's Harbour Bridge after a motorcyclist collided with a car.
The crash was blocking the left lane of the Bridge, causing heavy flows from Esmonde Rd until across the Bridge.
A police spokeswoman said it was a minor crash and the motorcyclist suffered minor injuries.
The NZ Transport Agency said there was also moderate traffic between Rosedale Rd and Constellation Dr.
Traffic was heavy on the southern motorway between the city and Penrose Rd, and again from Te Irirangi Dr and Takanini.
On the southwestern motorway Fire services blocked the left northbound lane just after Bader Dr for a time to put out a scrub fire. Delays were back to Massey Rd.
Motorists travelling westbound on the northwestern motorway are also experiencing heavy traffic between Great North Rd and Lincoln Rd.
In December last year the Harbour Bridge was closed in both directions after a man was spotted on an overhead sign.
Emergency services attended the incident at the northern end of the bridge and closed lanes in both directions while dealing with the matter.
