Save Two people are being cut free from their vehicle after the crash on SH23 at Whatawhata this afternoon.
Two people are being cut from their vehicle after a two-car crash near Hamilton.
Northern fire communications shift manager Daniel Nicholson said the 2.10pm crash is causing traffic to back up along State Highway 23.
The crash occurred near Ferguson Rd.
"One car has got two people trapped and
we're currently working trying to extricate the people ... there's lots of traffic backed up."
Waikato police Senior Sergeant Phil Ruddell said three people are being treated for minor injuries.
