A brawl broke out at the Auckland waterfront last night, drawing police to the scene in a flurry of sirens.
ONe person was badly injured and another sustained moderate injuries in the 9.30pm violence at the Queens Wharf area. A small fire was reportedly lit outside the front of TheCloud.
A bystander said he had heard an alarm go off to evacuate a nearby building.
About 200 people spilled out onto the pavement, he said.
The Daniel Tai vs Conrad Lam boxing match was at Shed 10 last night and the bystander told the Herald he believed it looked like a public brawl had sparked up after the fight.
The man said he thought he had heard a gunshot among the chaos but police said no guns were fired.
