Police have named the man killed in a truck crash in Otago yesterday as Nigel Patrick Beck, of Balclutha.
The 54-year-old was killed after his truck-and-trailer unit rolled at Beaumont, in the Clutha District around 6.30am.
He was trapped in the cab and died at the scene.
Police,
two fire engines and ambulance were called to Rongahere Rd, about 3km south of Beaumont, at 6.22am.
A heavy crane was utilised by emergency services to remove the truck from the scene.
