Two more people have been charged in relation to the murder of a woman on the West Coast this year.
Detective Senior Sergeant Jacqueline Corner said the West Coast CIB this week arrested and charged the pair in relation to the death of the woman, whose name is suppressed at the request of the Crown. In October a 45-year-old-man was charged with murder.
George Sean Warren, was arrested near Arahura Marae in a small township about 33km south of Greymouth.
Police had earlier issued an alert for the man, who was wanted in connection with the woman's death.
West Coast area commander Inspector Mel Aitken said Warren had been found walking on the Old Christchurch Rd near the marae.
Several West Coast armed police and CIB members arrested Warren, who gave himself up, Aitken said.
"It was a very peaceful resolution," Aitken said.
Warren has pleaded not guilty to murder and will reappear in court on February 9.
