A man in his 40s suffered multiple injuries after crashing his dirt bike during a trail ride event.
The incident happened about 1.30pm today at Glen Murray in the Waikato.
The Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called and the man was flown to Middlemore Hospital.
"He was travelling at a moderate speed and suffered multiple injuries," said a spokesman.
Meanwhile, the Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to a farm in Te Akau, north of Raglan, today after a 44-year-old man injured his ribs when the quad bike he was riding rolled.
The man was flown to Waikato Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
