A man has been arrested over a shooting in Palmerston North at the end of August that put a man in hospital.
Detective Sergeant Grayson Joines said a 25-year-old man approached Palmerston North police this morning and was arrested without incident.
He has since been charged over the shooting, which
happened on August 29 on Ronberg St in Highbury.
"The man is in police custody and is due to appear in Palmerston North District Court tomorrow afternoon," Joines said.
"Police are not looking for any other person with respect to the incident."
