Firefighters are working to free a person trapped in a vehicle after a crash near Hastings.
Emergency services were called to the crash at the intersection of Pilcher Rd and State Highway Two shortly before 1.30pm.
Two ambulances have been dispatched to the scene.
One person is reportedly trapped.
A spokeswoman for the Fire Service said they are at work with cutting gear to free the trapped occupant.
A St John spokeswoman said the patient only had moderate injuries and was not taken to hospital.
"That's good news for the patient and good news for us. That's what we want," she said.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding of what they say was a two-car crash.
