Nine plaques stolen from an Auckland cemetery have been found in Hamilton.
The bronze plaques are believed to be among about 20 stolen from the Purewa Cemetery in Meadowbank on Saturday.
Auckland District Police Detective Inspector Gary Davey said nine plaques believed to have been from the cemetery were found
in the Hamilton area.
A 26-year-old Fairfield woman has been arrested.
The investigation is ongoing.
