A person has been taken to hospital after a water accident at a popular Northland camping site.
St John Ambulance tweeted that a person was taken from Kai Iwi Lakes to Whangarei Hospital in a moderate condition shortly before 10am today.
The campsite is 35km from Dargaville.
There are two
campgrounds located on the freshwater lake foreshore, which is a popular holiday spot for families.
