Holiday road toll rises to 10 after fatal crash at Pukerau

The holiday road toll has risen to 10 after a motorcyclist died in a crash at Pukerau near Gore.

The crash happened just before 4pm on Waipahi Highway.

The driver of the motorcycle died at the scene of the crash.

Police say the road will be closed for some time as the Serious Crash Unit investigates and diversions are being put in place.
