Police are hunting for a man in Canterbury, and are warning people not to approach him.
Raymond Hemi, 23, was last seen in Rangiora about 12pm, and is possibly attempting to hitchhike to Ashburton, according to police.
He is 170cm tall, has a solid build and long hair. When he
was last seen he was wearing blue jeans and no shoes.
Police are asking anyone who sees him to call 111 immediately.
