Six people appeared in court today after police disrupted a methamphetamine supply ring.
Police acted on evidence that a prisoner at Manawatu Prison was arranging for the sale and distribution of P.
Police believed this was done in conjunction with associates in the community.
Detective Senior Sergeant Simon Harrison said
six people appeared in Palmerston North District Court today on drug supply and firearm charges following the execution of search warrants. Harrison said the investigation demonstrated how committed police were to disrupting the supply of P and that "nowhere and no one" was off limits for investigation.
"Methamphetamine is a harmful drug that is damaging our communities.
