Two people are being treated for burns following a small explosion in a van in Franz Josef tonight.
Fire crews and St John staff have been called to a camp ground on Doherty Creek Rd.
The Fire Service said it had responded to a small explosion to a van.
A
southern ambulance communications spokesman said they received a call to the site about 8pm.
They were told by the Fire Service that two people had suffered minor burns in some sort of "gas fire'' inside a van.
