Save The body of a man believed to have been swept away while whitebaiting has been found on the beach at Martins Bay, Te Anau.
The body of the 68-year-old Te Anau local was recovered following a short
search last night police said.
Volunteers, Land SAR and police were involved in
the search.
His death has been referred to the Coroner.
Police offered their sympathies to the friends and family of the man, saying it was a sad time.
