The family of Kiwi dance phenomenon Parris Goebel continues to be showered with public support following the sudden death of her young nephew.
Boxing Alley in Parnell, Auckland, put on a special fundraising event over the weekend in honour of Amarni Klein Collins.
The 15-month-old died suddenly in hospital, on September 2, after being admitted with a heart problem just a few days earlier.
Amarni's father, Sean Collins, is a trainer at the gym.
In several posts put up on the gym's Facebook page on Saturday, Boxing Alley thanked members of the public who came out to show their support.
"This is what family is about. Thank you to all who showed up in support of the Collins family & those who donated in loving memory of Amarni.
"The Boxing Alley team couldn't be more proud of our community.''
Photos of the event showed dozens of people - adults and children - participating in various boxing and training activities.
Other more poignant photographs show people meeting Amarni's parents and hugging his mother, Kendal - Goebel's sister, tightly.
