A house caught fire in Onehunga, Auckland, this morning.

Fire crews are at Arapuni Ave, in Onehunga, following the large early-morning blaze.

There were initial concerns for an elderly occupant but northern fire communications said just after 6.30am everyone has been accounted for.

A St John spokeswoman said they are also at the scene. However, they had not taken anyone to hospital.
