A man reported missing in Christchurch has been found safe and well.
Earlier today, Christchurch police said they had concerns for the safety of 80-year-old Vernon Robertson who was reported missing.
Robertson was last seen at Mairehau School, where he picked up a paper at 11am.
He never reached his destination nearby to deliver the paper and has not been heard from since. "This is completely out of character," police said.
He was in his car, a grey 2006 Toyota Corolla saloon, registration HCU863.
He was wearing green track pants, black shoes, a white skivvy, a brown jumper,
a black beanie and a light black and white rain jacket.
