Three armed offenders covered from head to toe stole cash and cigarettes from a Christchurch dairy early this morning.
The offenders entered Night 'n Day on Ferry Rd in Woolston about 3.30am with a firearm.
A police spokeswoman said the trio threatened the dairy worker and demanded they open the till. The worker was unharmed.
Police said it was possible the offenders left on bikes.
