It's a green light for Auckland's SkyPath - it'll will go ahead with private backing.
It's been rubber stamped at the Council's Governing Body meeting today.
With some concerns raised over whether dogs should be allowed, on-leash, the Council has again unanimously voted in favour of the project.
It will be built and maintained by HRL Morrison and Co's Public Infrastructure Partnership Fund, with topping-up from the council should the SkyPath not be profitable post-build.
The decision by the Governing Body was strictly a formality after the Performance and Finance Committee confirmed the funding plan a week ago.
