The name of a Wellington woman charged with murder will stay secret for now as her mental health is assessed.
The 38-year-old is accused of murdering a 37-year-old woman in the Wellington suburb of Strathmore early last month.
Both women have name suppression for now.
The murder-accused did not appear in the High Court at Wellington this morning for a brief hearing about the case's progress.
Justice Simon France said the accused would stay in custody until a further hearing in August, before which her mental health will be assessed.
