Blood has been found in a number of rooms that were broken into at a Queenstown tertiary education centre last night.
Significant damage was caused to the rooms and property inside the Queenstown Resort College during Saturday's break-in, police said.
Blood was also discovered in some of the damaged rooms, with investigating officers suggesting the intruders may have injured themselves during the incident at the hospitality and tourism tertiary education provider on Coronation Dr.
"Police are therefore seeking information on anyone who has arrived home overnight or this morning with an unexplained injury," police said in a statement released this morning.
Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to contact Dunedin Police on 03 471 4800, or anonymously contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
