Person injured during Wellington hotel robbery

A person was injured during a robbery of a Wellington hotel last night.

Police are today hunting for two men after the Bellevue Gardens Establishment in Lower Hutt was held up just after 10pm.

A person inside the bar was injured during the heist.

It was not known if the victim was a member of staff or a bar patron nor how the person was injured.

Police said the victim was taken to hospital for treatment but later discharged.

Detectives would be returning to the bar this morning to continue a scene examination.
