Save The Armed Offenders Squad have been called to an incident at Hikurangi, north of Whangarei.
The police have blocked off access to Cinder Way, the road which leads to the Wilsonville Quarry, which is along the Northern entrance to Hikurangi.
Three cars containing members of the Armed Offenders Squad just
arrived on scene at there are about 8 police cars at the scene including a police dog.
