A 51-year-old man was airlifted to Waikato Hospital this morning after rolling an all-terrain vehicle (ATV).
The Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter confirmed it was called to a farm address in Waitetuna Valley at approximately 8am where a local man was trapped under his ATV.
Fire, police and St John staffall assisted to extract the man from under the vehicle.
He was treated at the scene for fractures to his lower right leg before being flown to Waikato Hospital for further treatment.
