Save A crowd is gathering at Cathedral Square in Christchurch, ahead of a march to vent frustration at earthquake insurance problems.
Tomorrow is the fifth anniversary of the deadly quake, which killed 185 people.
NZME's Emily Murphy says many people have brought banners and placards with slogans including 'lies, lies and
more lies'.
She says some have told her they've waited long enough for earthquake damage to be repaired, and their frustration has reached boiling point.
Ms Murphy says there's a consensus the insurers should come to the party and offer what resident believe they're entitled to.
