As one offender ran out of the house he reached out and pushed a bassinet where the couple's 11-week-old son Carter was sleeping. Carter fell to the floor, but thankfully was not injured.
Hours after the incident police released a photograph of a woman thought to be connected.
A 44-year-old woman has now been arrested and charged with burglary, unlawfully getting into a stolen vehicle and a fraud offence relating to the use of a credit card stolen from Mr Scott's home.
The woman will appear in court on February 3.
Inspector Bruce O'Brien said inquiries were continuing into who else may have been involved.
He wanted to thank the public for helping police with the investigation. Many people contacted police after seeing the woman's photograph to help identify her.
