Kylee Guy, widow of slain Feilding farmer Scott Guy, is a mother again, giving birth to a baby boy. He join her other sons, Hunter and Drover.
She was previously living in Manawatu with Scott Guy, who worked on his family's farm alongside his brother-in-law Ewen Macdonald.
Mr Guy was shot dead at the end of his driveway on the morning of July 8, 2010.
Macdonald was subsequently acquitted of his murder but jailed for a string of other offences, including vandalising property belonging to Kylee and Scott Guy.
Kylee Guy didn't want to talk to NZME about the birth, and is known to value her privacy.
When the not-guilty verdict was read at the end of Macdonald's trial in the High Court at Wellington, she ran from the public gallery screaming, "He killed my husband."
Later in 2012, the Sensible Sentencing Trust, working on her behalf, approached four private investigators in a bid to find Scott Guy's killer.
There was talk of progress but this year that investigation came to an end.
"Sadly, they've stopped because there's no more funding," said Ruth Money, a spokeswoman for Kylee Guy and formerly part of the trust.
"The family can only spend so much."
Macdonald was released from prison last month.
