Save A man killed when a car crashed into a tree in rural South Auckland over the weekend has been named by police.
He was 54-year-old Darin McKay from Auckland.
Emergency services were called to the crash on Clevedon-Kawakawa Rd about 3.45am on Saturday.
Mr McKay, who was a passenger in
the car, died at the scene. The driver suffered serious injuries.
The police serious crash unit was investigating the cause of the crash.
