A 3-month-old boy is in a critical condition after a reported fall at his home in Southland.
Police are investigating.
The boy was flown to Auckland's Starship Hospital with serious injuries following the incident at his Riverton home last night, Invercargill police said.
Emergency services were called to the house at 7.35pm after reports that the boy had suffered serious injuries and was unresponsive.

He was taken to Southland Hospital before being stabilised and transferred to Starship.
Police said their investigation into the incident was at an early stage and it was too soon to provide further details.
